CHAPLAIN

Residents, family and friends are welcome to make an appointment with Chaplain Ian Lutze. Ministers and visitors of various Christian denominations visit regularly and / or on request.

The Chaplain provides a counselling role within the Home to staff, residents and families to assist during the various challenges of life. The Chaplain also assists with the recruitment of staff with an aim of ensuring the continuation and confirmation of the Christian philosophy at the Home.

CHURCH SERVICES

​

The Tanunda Lutheran Home has developed its own congregation for residents, visitors and staff. Services for independent living unit & low care residents are held in the Chapel each Sunday at 10.30 am, and for Lent, Good Friday and Christmas Day. Another weekly church service is held on Monday mornings at 11.00am in Acacia wing for the more dependant residents. Others are welcome to come along to any of the services.

OTHER SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES

Residents welcome the opportunity to be included in hymn singing programs and Bible share time, as well as the regular visiting by Pastor. Funerals may be held in the Chapel as an alternative if desired. Seating for approximately 200 people with wheelchair access is available. Lunches, morning and afternoon teas can be arranged if required.
